08 Jun Saturday Sewing
Often there isn’t enough time in the week to get to our creative hobbies. I know all about that! Even though I get to sew everyday for my work, the weeks rush by and I haven’t tried out any of all the great things I pin on Pinterest!
That’s why I’ve created a Sew Saturday class, a time and place where we can come together and get creative, learn new techniques and get social! Its a great way to learn how to sew your own clothing- with quality fabrics and fashionable styles. Your wardrobe will never be the same… just ask my other sewing class students!
The Sew Saturday Classes are a 3 hour session, from 8:30 – 11:30 am, where we get to work on the project of the month, from start to finish.
This month we’ll be starting off with the Boxer shorts- a classic where we can go over the basics. I’ll be showing you the basics of fabrics, cutting it out correctly, setting up your machine, and stitching it all together. I’m sure you’ll be quite pleased with the end result!!
We might be starting off with the boxer shorts, but with this basic pattern you’ll be able to make them into fashionable hot shorts, casual bermuda’s or 3/4 pedal pushers, or into a comfy full length pants- perfect for pajama’s.
The Sew Saturday Classes will include all supplies needed for the project, making it easy for you to simply come and enjoy a creative morning.
Join us for the first Sew Saturday Class on the 2 July 2016.
Classes will be held on a monthly basis at my studio in the Champagne Valley, Central Drakensberg.
Book your place soon, so not to be disappointed…spaces are limited!
